"FUTILITY"

Photographer Dave Harbour sets a time delay in order to test his strength in an attempt to move a concrete buoy anchor at the Port of Homer, Alaska. Probably the result of a bet, if memory serves. A friend suggested that the anchor was too heavy. Another observed that the leverage being applied was 'all wrong'. The three had just completed a visit to the famed 'Salty Dawg Saloon' on the Homer spit. Explanation accepted. -dh
